quick question

Although there is a way to comment on the individual strips, hang out in here to discuss where the arcs are going, who the sexiest character is, or why you love Lamarr so much.

For inking and coloring, I use Photoshop CS2. For sketches, I use Pencil and Paper 2.0. :P

darn it. that doesn't help. my consistency in drawing is horrible. i thought about just using pencil and paper and hand-drawing each comic i'm working on, but i don't know.

Doesn't help? :( Well, all I can say is, just practice drawing your characters a whole hell of a lot doing lots of wild things. Seriously. It'll take some practice, but really? That probably helps the most out of anything you can do on your consistency. Work on character sheets and such, anatomical drawings – it all helps.

If I have to draw a character more than once, I usually do a character rotation so I know what they look like from every angle. I take reference photos for everything I draw and it really, really helps! Also I would suggest inking after penciling and scan it. One of my other friends uses blue pencil lead (it doesn't scan) and then goes over his drawings with ink. Microns and india ink are the best route, they blend since they're both india ink based. Or you can use dip pens. Whatever floats your boat. More planning should go into your drawing than execution, and it seriously makes a difference.

It's true. Cookie-eating is one of the most important aspects of the drawing process.
