Grandma Safe

After the story of my ER adventure reached the ears of my grandmother, I've decided to make my next few posts a bit more grandma friendly.  We'll start with this one, even though I don't think my grandmother has any other reason to visit the site.

So last week during my recovery from the ER, Chance was sick with what I now have.  No it is not H1N1, but simply a nasty cold, just short of the flu.  It's not fun, as I missed both my classes on Tuesday and will miss class tomorrow, too.  Also, I'm missing two tests and a good chunk of material, so it won't be fun playing catch up.

So as for the week, it's been pretty boring.  Things should pick up this weekend, however.  Joe leaves today (Thursday) for Springfield for Lucky's wedding and is taking Riley.  I get to stay home and be sick until I have to work, then when I'm done with work I get to go home to Saint Louis to see some friends who are visiting for the weekend.

Now right now I'm craving some Ramen Noodles, so I'm going to put a pot on the stove and consume one of the fifteen packages I bought.  Then it's bed time.
